Cahill's Farm has made Irish Plain Porter Cheese from pasteurized cow's milk and Guinness-brewer Porter since 1759. It is blended to create a mosaic, marbled pattern. The curds and whey are separated with vegetable rennet, making this Irish Porter a vegetarian cheese. The flavors of this brown waxed gourmet cheese are full, rich, and chocolaty with a tangy, pungent finish. It can be sliced and served fresh, or even grilled. Pair Irish Porter with a chilled pint of Guinness stout or Irish porter.
